Bladerider VRX-S:
- Hull: Autoclaved
pre-preg 3k carbon hull with a fine bow, straight rocker, flat bottom,
square
chines and low freeboard all combine to produce a hull with less weight
and windage for optimum lo-riding performance. Volume has been kept in
the stern for a cleaner lift-off.
- Wing Frame:
Aerodynamic bladder molded carbon wing frame with new and improved
dacron trampolines and air bladders for bouyancy.
- Hydrofoils:
Current model F40 (MkII) hydrofoils, as used to win the 2008
World Championships. Finished in black two piece, high-lift pre-preg
carbon hydrofoils fitted to pre-preg carbon centerboard and rudder,
purpose-designed for lowest drag and maximum lift in speed range 5-26
knots.
- Mast & Boom:High
modulus narrow mast and oval shaped high modulus carbon boom (around
80% stiffer than normal).
- Sail: North race sail.
- Rope & Fittings:
Complete Ronstan fitout including new
Orbit mainsheet blocks and FSE Robline ropes
